have you tried insure and go?

Have you tried not mentioning it? Do you have to mention it? I understood an innocent heart murmur is in no way a 'health condition' simply a natural way the heart has of beating until it's grown out of. It needs no treatment and no monitoring of any sort so surely you don't even have to mention it?

Do you have a credit card that also carries travel insurance. Dh had one so when we travelled with our dd1 ( congenital heart defect) we just needed to fill out a form and she was covered as part of the insurance.

Dont see why it should make any difference to insurance.
Many people have a murmur and dont even know they have.
I only found out recently at 43yrs.
As Honoria said it isnt a condition which is a problem

Apparantly it is.

Boots say they don't insure heart murmers full stop but the lady said she has heard of them insuring some innocent murmers so they are getting back to us. I'll let you know how we get on.

They said they'd refer us if needs be to a company specialising in medical conditions(goodness knows how much that would be) so trying to look elsewhere.

She said you definately do need to declare it. But as the paediatricitian said it's of no consequence and they often disappear with time don't see why they're bothered really.

Boots have just said they will insure the innocent heart murmer as there is no structural probs but not his croup
Not had croup for ages so going with that.
