I’ve booked our holiday with PE seats. We’ve flown in them before but not with Ds. I’ve been looking online and can find sample menus for adults but not kids. Ds can be a fussy bugger so wondering if anyone knows where I’d find the info. Thanks.

Hopefully this link should help:

Do not rely on the airline to fully provide re child's meals. They can be too salty or spicy and are generally not that good either in terms of overall quality.

I would take what your son likes to eat and enough of it for the flight. Leave any uneaten food, particularly fruit, behind on the aircraft.

Thanks for your help. It’s s morning flight so I thought a hearty breakfast in the v room just in case Smile

We flew PE and the children's meals weren't what u would class as child friendly! I'd recommend taking lots of snacks!!

icelollycraving · 05/06/2019 10:13

Great, thanks! I thought that may be the case.

The v-room is an exclusive tour operator lounge for Virgin Holidays customers who are travelling from Gatwick and Manchester Airports. In order to book the lounge, a package holiday would need to be booked with Virgin Holidays and the lounge would be subject to availability and subject to the relevant costs for your travel dates.

As the v-room is exclusive to Virgin Holidays customers, if you have booked through Virgin Atlantic or in conjunction with a package holiday booked via an alternative Tour Operator, we would not be able to provide lounge access.

icelollycraving · 05/06/2019 14:15

I booked with Virgin holidays and have booked the v room already.

Good. They should have a nice selection of breakfast foods.

I would still not rely on Virgin Atlantic to fully provide re meals so take what he likes to eat and plenty of it. Be prepared also to wait a long time on arrival into Orlando.

icelollycraving · 05/06/2019 18:18

Thanks, we are going to the Caribbean. I’m v v excited!!

Ha, love the assumption there that the only place across the Atlantic is Orlando Shock

Hollowvictory · 05/06/2019 18:42

You can also help yourself to snacks in pe

icelollycraving · 06/06/2019 09:19

I did think that regarding Orlando. There is another thread asking about Virgin so perhaps that was the confusion.
This is always a very helpful part on mn. It’s a shame it’s being squished with other travel.
