Do's and Don'ts at Disney

We are about to bite the bullet and do Disney! We are going to Florida in October. DS will be 9 while we are there. What are the must do's and the avoid like the plague 's. ???

Keep in mind October can be chilly too. We went October half term two years ago and it was too cold to swim most days and we wore long trousers and jumpers.
