Eurocamp for stop offs to the South of France

We're heading to a villa near Cannes in the summer and thinking of 2 stop offs on the drive down and back. Anyone done this and could suggest Eurocamps to use to break up the journey for the kids?

From Calais or another port?

Where are you getting the ferry to and where in the south of France are you headed?

Are you looking at staying near the coast? If so, Carnac Eurocamp is lovely and about 2.5 hour drive on from Roscoff. Loads to do both in the park and local area - great beach too. Not much into the journey if you’re headed all the way to the very south though.

If you’ve got a long drive from the north of the UK beforeyou even getonto the continent I’d recommend a short stop in Picardy before heading further South. La Bien Assise is just 30 minutes from the port and makes for an easy one night stay before heading further south.
The other choice would be to drive straight to Burgundyfrom Calais – which is aroundsixhours – and stay at Le Domaine de l’Epervière. Then the following day drive a further fivehours, stopping in either Valence or Montelimar for lunch, or if you set off early enough take the 40 minute detour to the magnificent limestone gorge at Vallon Pont d’Arc which is the perfect place for a picnic in the sunshine.
If you want somewhere between Calais and Burgundy, La Croix du Vieux Pont and International Maissons-Laffitte are both great choices. If you can, visit the Morvan Natural Park. Or stopfor lunch in Besancon; aUNESCO Site packed with beautiful old buildings.
