Going for four days. What's good to see for children?

Definitely go to Tivoli but don’t go too early in the day, otherwise your DC might be too worn out to enjoy the evening, which is when the park is at its best, especially in the winter. Don’t miss the light projection at the Winter Palace, the Northern Lights show and the Winter Illuminations. Check the showing times for each of these online before you go.
The Blue Planet is a quick hop on the (driverless) S-tog (metro) from the centre. It’s a stunning aquarium and is huge, with enormous walk-through tanks. There’s a muggy rainforest section too.
The zoo has a good range of animals, including polar bears which my Dc loved. There are trolleys for hire, so you can trundle younger children along if they get tired. The tropical section is perfect when you need to warm up or if it’s raining. The daily programme is displayed onZoo's website and on information screens at the entrance. Here you will find information about feeding times, newborn animals, the Zoo stage programme as well as other events.
Another quick S-tog hop from the centre is the extraordinary playground KU.BE. This is a massive space entirely devoted to play! This is softplay Scandi-style, so the colours are pleasingly pale dove-grey with yellow accents, and there is a vertical maze, a climbing slope with various length of slides, nets to climb and crawl over, and wooden stilts outside. Plus, it's easily accessed via the metro.
The children’s area of the National Museum has lots of hands on exhibits such as dressing up as 19th-century school children in an old-style classroom, as well as a replica Viking ship and pretend medieval castle. Depending on your kids, they may like the Viking boats and mummies in the main museum as well, and everyone will love the fun photo booths at the permanent Manga and Cosplay exhibition.
Definitely go on a canal boat tour, and get one which goes to the Little Mermaid statue.
The Hans Christian Anderson house is interesting for all ages. Younger children will enjoy watching and listening fairy tales in colorful displays with light and sound effects. I found it fascinating to learn the entire story of his life. It’s really close to Tivoli.

Science museum. Absolutely brilliant. Mine spent the whole day there and then we went back for another full day two days later.

Tivoli gardens was the other huge hit.
