We have just returned from Boston with them.

I found them fine, flight wasn't busy so we had a seat for rookietoddler. Flights were on time and attendants were pleasant.

Only one minorly annoying thing, as we have a toddler thought we would pre book meals to save any hassle. They were fairly disgusting plus the people who didn't book a meal were given free food, so pack your own sarnies to be on the safe side.

Oh we went economy, the seats in premium economy did not appear to be bigger or have any more leg room but their meal looked slightly more pleasant, they got wine with it and a more generous luggage allowance, may be useful as they do appear to be quite strict with the 20kg limit.

Enjoy your holiday.

thanks for that. Was there any in-flight entertainment suitable for children?? I'll have a 3yr & 6 yr.

You can rent a personal computer thing with tv shows, as our DS is too long to enjoy and as I didn't get much of a chance with my 6.5 hours of constant running up and down the aisle after him ( DH kindly took over for 0.5 hours) sigghhh we didn't opt for that option, so I don't know how much it costs.

No special kiddy packs I think so bring your own toys for them.

Thanks. Just convinced DH to buy a portable DVD player, but that might work as well. We'll have our usual bags of tricks. We usually fly Virgin and they have a great kids tv channel on it -- last time DD watched it for almost the whole time. While I carried / fed DS the whole time.

Thanks waswondering.....I have also just noticed Virgin do a day flight back to the UK. I think next time we'll try that. AS our ultimate destination is the MidWest. We're just stopping in Toronto as DH has family there (plus we live 15 min from Stansted)

Just don't complain about anything. Their customer service staff are like Rottweilers. Can you tell they caused us a lot of hassle and almost our holiday!?

Having said that, you can't please all the people all the time and maybe we were just a PITA

Enjoy your trip

Thanks.

Anything has got to be better than last time when DS was 5 mth old, just over ear infection, had colic and refused to sit anywhere by with me. I didn't sleep at all.
