How much to budget for Turkey / Greece?

I’m looking for a cheap summer holiday for either Turkey or Greece, I quite like Crete. I’ve been told that Turkey is a lot cheaper than Greece for eating out and activities. Can anyone please tell me how much I should budget per day for either Turkey or Greece? We are a family of 3, me, my 12 year old son and a 3 year old daughter.

I did say in most places. I know how it works out there I lived in Turkey for 3 years.

We stayed in Zante last year and ate out every night 2adults, 2teenagers. I don’t think a single night the bill can go least than £100. A couple of starter, 2 cokes for the kids, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and 4 main courses. We went to the standard restaurants in the tourist areas . If you want to eat fish or seafood it will be more expensive still.

That should read ‘was less than £100’

@SooticaTheWitchesCat forgive me if I'm wrong but your post says that sunbeds are free in most places which, as I point out, is not true.
The OP is after a holiday on a budget. She needs to (if she wants to go to the beach) factor in the cost of sunbeds. Even the "free" ones you refer to.

Out of interest, where did you live?

By the way OP, 2 sunbeds and an umbrella cost 15 Lira a day near me (SW Turkey), so not too bad.

I lived in Bodrum, near to Gumbet.

All the sunbeds on the beach there were free, I very often would just buy a bottle of water and sit there for a whole morning. They were always happy for me to do that.
