Flying to Copenhagen - what are restrictions on hand luggage contents now?

Hi

Taking dd to Sweden next week. First time I've flown since 2004 and first time ever for dd who's 20 months.

What can I or can't I take in my hand luggage?

Was planning on taking some food and drink for dd and nappies as well as some paper/crayons etc to keep her occupied.

Will this be allowed?

TIA

ps: does the new EH111 card thingy last for 12 months or more? I got them for last year's trip to France but not sure if I need to renew.

No liquids of more than 100ml containers(including medicine for which take a prescription) land side and they are to be put in a clear plastic bag for security. Nothing sharp. EHIC is indefinite iirc.

Think the E111 lasts forever now, we have the new card ones too but havent looked to see if needs renewing.

You can put any liquids up to 100ml in a sealed sandwich bag to go through security but once you hit departure lounge you can buy as much liquid as you want and take it on board.
Paper and crayons will be fine I took loads of stuff like that for ds on our flight in May plus cars and things, it was fine.

Have a nice time

Brilliant, thanks!

Am a bit apprehensive about managing a toddler and bags on my own but am sure it'll be fine.

Can you take food for a baby e.g. a banana/ bread etc?

Paddlechick666 · 30/06/2007 08:23

yes you can take food and you can take baby milk/juice but you have to taste it apparently!

it's a short flight so i'm planning to pack a sandwich and rice cakes, raisins etc and dd's sippy cup of water. best distraction for my child is food LOL!

there's actually more information on www.baa.com which i've printed off.
