A daft question I realise, but...

Can anyone give me a rough guide as to how much luggage equates to 15 kg.

TIA.

Not enough!!

Maybe a smallish medium case with nothing too weighty inside.

lol, it's for DH and two of the lads (1 bag each) just for a few days, but it will have karate kit in it too.

I'm not very up on weight (except my own) lol.

If its any easier, i think 15k is 33lb, so maybe 4.5 newborns!!

i wear as many clothes as i can when i fly which goes against the general advice particularly when it would be nice to arrive somewhere comfortable cool and entirely non plussed!
However often travel with 3 children 7,5 and 2 alone and know that cannot handle lots of baggage and if i don't wear lots of clothing may have nothing to wear when get there.
The shame is used to be able to have a large G+T and not be too bothered but now often hire car and cannot really!
try and get the children to drag their wheely suitcases with various princesses behind them- they are lethal weapons.. both children and suitcases. It is however amazing how much you can get in these. They're often surprised, poor mites, when they get on board when they open their bag alll the toys they put in aren't there, but find their clothing!!
It is getting easier, as my expectations of looking reasonable deteriorate, and it gives me an ideal opportunity to go shopping for new kit, hey ho.
But 15 kg is really a medium sized trolley suitcase with no books and not overstuffed!

We weigh ours on our bathroom scales - it takes some balancing but can be done!

rofl - or three newborns for me (DS2 was 10lb 14).

Kitbags rather than cases (so lighter hopefully).

My scales are really wonky, so not much use tbh.

The lads are wearing a uniform, so no opportunity to wear as many layers unfortunately, lol.
