Looking at going to Toronto this summer. Thinking 3-4 days Toronto, then a week in Blue Water Acres in Huntsville. Followed by 3-4 days somewhere.

Thoughts and suggestions have been to Toronto but was about 20 years ago and will be taking DDs who will be 18/17 at the time.

Hi Campbell river has an indigenous company doing bear and whale watching combined, it's always nice to support them. Also, Whistler has a great mountain biking scene which would definitely suit teens, get the gondola up, watch for bears, cycle down! It's beautiful. You can usually hire kayaks or canoes in most Canada parks and Provincial parks, but check the websites www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/ for facilities and maps, many are huge! Also you can hire yurts but you will need to do that now, as reservations start from now! Enjoy, and remember to watch out for the wildfires, and listen to the fire risk warnings, they were pretty awful last year when we were there in August.

finally booked our flights and car hire, going to work out route and accommodation now.

surprised that prices haven't changed since we started looking - thought they might have gone up by now. flying into Calgary and back from Vancouver with Air Canada.

Exciting times

Does anyone have any tips of hotels/B&Bs etc to stay in in Banff/Jasper etc. We really really want to do this tour in first 2 weeks of July this year but struggling to sort accommodation that isn't £300 a night for 2 adults and a 6yr old!
