Somewhere hot in January...

Just wondering if there is anywhere I can go to, as a lone female, for a few days in January? Hubby is not keen on me going to Egypt, Turkey, Morocco or Tunisia alone.

PP’s suggestion of South Africa is a great call - February is the perfect time to visit the Cape, and you could intermingle lazy time by the pool or on the beach with wine-tasting and maybe a mini-safari/game drive with one of the local operators who pick you up from your hotel and drop you back afterwards.

No jet-lag either!
