Taking a scooter on flight

DD and I (aged 4) are going away on a city break and taking hand luggage only. I'm wondering whether we can take her scooter. Does anyone know if this is possible on BA?

I'm wondering whether I can take it apart and put it in the space above our seats.

We did this years ago when our DS was little. It used to fold down a little bit and we put it in a bin liner and put it in the bottom of one of our suitcases.

I'm not checking any baggage in as we won't have much stuff. Mine doesn't fold but does come apart in two pieces - it's the mini micro scooter.

Does anyone know if it's possible to take it apart and take it onto the plane?

Take it apart and put it in your bag - it'll fit in a wheely trolley. Or you might be able to just take it on instead of a buggy as children's equipment, check your airline policy.

You would be allowed but it would count as one persons hand baggage, I think.
