Has anyone travelled here from Eindhoven airport and if so what’s this best way please? (Struggling to find anything other than expensive taxi on google)

Are you staying there OP?

You can email them in english. There is information in english but it doesn't tell you how to use public transport.

The paragraph below is the one you need. Run it through google translate.
Basically it says you can use public transport. Get the train Tilburg centraal then either the 142 bus to Best or 143 bus to Reusel in the direction of Hilvarenbeek. Then get off at the beekse bergen stop (halte).

Check 9292.nl for the travel information or ns.nl which is trains. Both have an english mode.

You will need to buy an ov chip card which you should get at the airport. It should work for both trains and buses. 9292.nl tells you how much the journey is. Cards are 7.50 and you need 20 minimum to travel on train. I know you can buy a dispoable tra8n tickets and not need the blue ov card. But have no idea about the buses down there. Maybebask beekse bergen?

I haven’t, but I have used public transport in NL a bit. Definitely use 9292 for planning - they also have an app. It is probably only worth getting an ov chip card for adults as you need an NL address to apply for a child one. However there may be local travel cards you can buy. However some buses don’t seem to offer child fares without a chip card. I think Arriva charged full fare.

You need minimum €20 on the card to be able to use a train, and €4 to use a bus or tram. Some buses are now cashless but you can use a debit card if you don’t have a chip card.

A child (I think up to two per adult) can get a rail runner ticket for €2.50 for the train. Which is excellent value.

It looks as though your most straightforward journey might be taking two buses rather getting a train and two buses.

Oh and don’t forget to tap the card when getting on AND off the bus or it will charge you the maximum fare.

You can buy a ov card (and top up) at the yellow machines in stations and also from some shops. I think to buy a card you need a machine that has the NS train logo on. The machines all offer English translations. They should take Uk debit cards, although some shops/supermarkets don’t accept visa.
