Nice but smaller all inclusive

Hello

I've already start my search for next year's holiday as it'll be our first in the school holidays.

There are three families going together; children 3-6.

We'd like an all inclusive in Spain/two hours away but would prefer it to be on the smaller side, kids splash pool, near the beach, preferably kids club but we don't need a big water park. Nice food....for adults.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks.

Oh, and crucially, I forgot, I really neeeed a separate area for the kids to sleep in or else someone will cough and all four of us will be awake....!

I'm happy with anything under 200 rooms. Try Club Del Sol Aparthotel, Aparthotel Princess Playa and Paradise Club Cala'n Bosch.

I've stayed at Tui Family Life Avenida Suites in Salou which pretty much has all your requirements - 2 hour flight to Gatwick, small hotel, one bed apartments (so dd was in bedroom, DP and I in the main room which had a proper double bed). Two pools (one for kids) , kids club & entertainment and a playground.

Only downside for me is that I didn't think the food was amazing, but equally it wasn't awful we could always find something to eat.

We hated the Avenida suites!!
TUI family life are rubbish compared to TUI holiday villages.

See I much prefer Family Life to HV, Holiday Villages are just too much for me! OP, not sure about room types but the Algeria Pineda Splash would suit you in terms of size of hotel and facilities, Jet2 are normally the best for it.

We stayed at the Playa De Muro Village hotel in Majorca last year. It was lovely. Very low key, right on the beach with two pools. There is a larger hotel next door which you can use if you want more excitement!

Thanks for your replies.

The Algeria Pineda splash looks right up my street...as does the price. Alas, there are no separate bedrooms which is a shame.

I get what you mean about the holiday villages, they look incredible but I feel like we might peak too soon with them when actually something smaller and quieter would be perfectly fine for our 2 and 4 year olds and then we have something to move onto rather than starting with a holiday village and everything thereafter being disappointing...

That’s a shame about Pineda Splash I always think it looks lovely for younger families. If you go on Jet2 you can filter by board basis and room type after the initial search, Canaries are generally good for larger accom in AI, particularly Fuerteventura. Off the top of my head I’d say look at the GF Isabel Tenerife and Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura, for mainland Spain try the Best Roquetas

Royal Son Boy might fit, here at the moment, smaller complex than some of the high rise hotels nice pool, smaller kids pool for little ones, all inclusive, beach short walk (best to walk a little further as though clear and shallow some rocks) lovely staff, good food imo, kids club...only down side we have had is usual not enough umbrellas around the pool - but seems to happen every time we go on hols abroad! Got round it by buying parasol and sticking it through back if sun bed. Worked a treat

Sorry Son Boy not Son Boy

We loved holiday village Mallorca- opt in or out of ents, get a duplex room for a room terrace, food was good. Hire a car and head around, beaches locally lovely (free shuttle bus)
