Where to holiday within easy reach of Easyjet flights?

We will need a budget holiday next year so am thinking of cheap Easyjet flights (as soon as they're released in Sept I think) with separate accommodation. We've done the same this year (to Crete) but accommodation and flights still more than we want to spend next year.

So am thinking maybe Spain, or France (thinking shorter flights will be cheaper) but where? Will have teenagers who like pools / beaches / some activities maybe e.g. paddle boarding/ kayaking?

Any suggestions welcome!

MrsAiden - we spent a couple of days in Sanremo - the Italian Riviera isn’t as nice as the French but it’s an interesting town - used to be on the super rich yatching route & has a casino, palm fringed beach promenade & well preserved old town & medieval quarter. It doesn’t exactly take long to get to from Nice (about 1.30-2hrs from memory, change at Ventimiglia) so yes, worth a day trip into Italy. Preferred it to Monaco anyway which imo was just very very built up with lots of traffic & tossers in supercars!

Thank you for all the tips.

Yes, the cost of eating out etc is definitely a factor. We've done 2 summers in Italy - certainly last year in Tuscany was notably more expensive than Lake Garda / Venice the year before. We're a family of 5 with children who are bottomless pits so expensive food and drinks soon add up.
