Thailand- Phuket- where to stay!

We have been given a two week February half term next year so we thought we’d do a week to ten days in Thailand and then a bit in Singapore on the way home. We stayed in the Marriott in nai yang before and will likely return there for a bit but would like some suggestions as to other similar places that work with a 3.5 and 5.5 year old.

So ideally a room with three beds and a partition; two singles one side and a king the other. Decent pool. Kids club. Walking distance to beach and local eateries etc. Either for us instead of nai yang or as well as!

Anyone got good experiences they can report? Ideally for less than 250 quid a night!

Not sure on prices or room configurations but we stayed in Cape Panwa when in Phuket. It's tucked away from the hussle and bustle but only a short tuk tuk ride away. We loved it's secluded and quiet location with private beach. No idea on kids clubs as this was pre children days!

Pullman at Nathan Beach, just amazing

We stayed at the Slate in Nai Yang and it was beyond perfect. The rooms had a huge super king and a king side day bed with curtains around (we put cushions between the kids). The kids club was fantastic, included cookery classes etc, two quiet and beautiful adults only pools plus a great family pool. Straight out of the back gate to the beach restaurants.

Watching with interest as considering this also. I've heard the Marriott's are good.

Pullman or any hotel at Cape Panwa would be my pick . It is a beautiful place in lovely setting away from the hustle, with private tidal beaches and close enough to tuk tuk to the very interesting restored Phuket town, that has an excellent Saturday market. Kata noi is another southern island option on the other side and close to the bigger towns and markets.
Closer to the airport and very family friendly is Sunwing Kamala Beach. They have good sized rooms and terrific facilities for children .The beach is great and has some amazing beach clubs, massage under the palms and lots of local eateries.

Surin beach slightly north is very serene as well.
We normally hire a villa but I've visited lots of hotels as well.

Avoid Patong, Kata and Karon. They have good hotels but the daily hustle, ugly over and unsympathic developmen, chaotic nightlife, and congestion isn't relaxing.

If your half tern falls at beginning of February then prices will be high due to Chinese New Year holiday. First day of new year is 5th: prices will be high for a couple of days before then and for at least 7 days after the 5th.
I've been to indigo pearl at nai yang and that would tick all your boxes. Think it is now called the slate and mentioned up thread.

We went with Nai Yang in the end but not the slate / indigo pearl as that cost almost as much as my entire holiday budget! We are staying at the Dewa instead. Looks decent, has a family suite with two bedrooms and pool and kids club etc.

The Dewa is nice. It's just opposite the beach. 2 min walk. Not too far to walk to beach restaurants etc.

Sorry I know this is an old thread. Wondered how your holiday was? I’m looking at going next year. Dcs aged 4,7,9- how was the kids club? Is it walking distance to restaurants etc?
