Hi everyone! Hoping someone can help me a little, so im taking my little girl on the Disney dash next month. (She has absolutely no idea!) I'm just wondering how much spending/food money i should take with me? We travel on the first day, get there early spend the entire day there and leave after the fireworks so were not staying over Or anything.

Thank you, in advance! X

You'll probably get more of a response on short haul for Paris (this is long!). We did Disneyland Paris a couple of years ago (had a blast, really didn't expect too!). I assume you have park tickets? Get there as early as you possibly can to avoid the queues that build up during the day for the rides (average waiting time is about 75 minutes per ride during peak hours). Investigate whether your ticket allows you to use the fast pass system (ours did and was no additional cost - basically you use your ticket to 'book' a time slot which saves time queueing for the really busy popular rides). Even the buffet places in the park are pretty expensive so my advice would be take your lunch and drink with you into the park and save yourself the money - we did! I'd budget for at the very least £35 per head for dinner. What my DD (then 6) most enjoyed was the Princess lunch at the Auberge de Cendrillon - the food wasn't great and was expensive but it gives any Princess mad girl the opportunity to meet, speak & sometimes dance with a number of the Princesses without queueing for a couple of hours at the Pavillion - might be a good option if you've only got a day! You would have to book it in advance though as it's very popular (and isn't cheap). My DD was totally starstruck and beside herself though! In terms of other money saving hints, a lot of the kids are dressed in disney costumes. They sell fabulous ones there but they are very pricey so if she's likely to want to dress up, take one you've already got or go to Asda. Also, take an autograph book with you - like the dresses, they're expensive in the park. Have fun, we did! Also, download the Disneyland Paris app which will give you waiting times for the rides when you get there, will save you some time if you've only got a day.
