Duinrell - thanks MN

First went to Duinrell in Holland after a recommendation (or two) from MN. Miles better than Centreparcs and a bit cheaper too!
Now off back there again and wondered if anyone can recommend a day trip out or local attractions that are a must see while we're there? Have a couple of 7 and 8 year olds. Anything that doesn't have a language barrier please.
Thanks for your help ...

The Nemo museum in Amsterdam is amazing! Madurodam in The Hague is also brilliant (miniature towns etc) and a canal boat trip in Amsterdam might be fun if the kids would be OK with that? Lived in The Netherlands for a short time when our dcs were young and these were the things we did with them ... not much of a language barrier as the large majority of people speak English. Have a great time!

We cycled out to the beach one day. The hire place on site has a variety of equipments if not everyone can ride a bike. And it was cycle paths all the way.

Another vote for the Nemo in Amsterdam. No language barrier to worry about, even the live demonstrations are done in both Dutch and English. We went on a rainy day last August and it was absolutely heaving, best to go on a sunny day when it's quieter if you can. The kids loved the double decker train and bendy bus that we travelled there on too. Not a day out but Luciano ice cream shop in Wassenaar is well worth the walk.
