Do I need to book on a regular London weekday? (With a wheelchair) not a school holiday or anything

Maybe not but the weather in London is very good right now and lots of tourists around!

Don't forget that there's a reduced rate for anyone with special needs, plus any accompanying Carer goes free, and you don't have to join the general queue to board.

Shameless bump

Thank you for that I've only done if a few years ago when we had Merlin passes. Do you know if you book the carer ticket ahead if your booking ahead? I can't decide whether just to risk it cos I really don't know what time we are going to arrive

Yes, you can book the Carer at the time of the booking.

We didn't book ahead, just turned up, six of us. One elderly person with a walking stick, one visually-impaired person - they both got discounts, with two of the abled bodied people counting as Carers and went free.

So out of six of us, only two paid the full price.

It was a very busy day and the general queue was huge, but we were sent by the booking office to the special queue (I had no idea there was one) and were aboard in no time! The Eye staff are notably helpful.

Awesome that sounds perfect. I don't mind booking but we travel in quite a way whuch makes getting the timing right virtually impossible

Also, if I remember correctly, there's a special queue in the booking office for Special Needs tickets, and that's shorter too!

Hope you have a great time. Smile

How old are your children?

It’s very slow and honestly quite tedious.

Yokatsu · 23/06/2018 21:04

@Westfacing Thank you appreciate the help, looking forward to it!

@Caribbeanyesplease Its ok we know it and love it. It used to be our regular go to London thing when we had Merlin passes after hospital appointments and stuff. Been a few years now though. The slowness works for me as otherwise my fear of heights kicks in!
We love looking down on London and spotting all the sights!!
