Prague with a child

We've just booked a few nights in Prague with our 6 year old for later in the summer. He's well practised with city breaks (this will be number 10) and keeps up a great pace, so no concerns there! We're just looking for suggestions for good things to do as a family whilst there, especially if anyone knows of any hidden gems!

We took a toddler. She found it boring but there's quite a few playgrounds. Search playgrounds on Google maps when zoomed in on Prague. And we didn't do it but apparently there's a Lego museum.

Definitely Vytopna Railway Restaurant. Customers are served by model trains that bring drinks to them. The model railway runs around the restaurant, in, out and across the tables, through tunnels and across bridges. You can also load up the trains with your used glasses. Trains are despatched to tables by staff. The food (pizzas, pasta and salads) is reasonably priced. It also has a children's menu. Book a table to avoid disappointment.
Prague seems to love model railways. Kingdom of Railways is an expansive model railway with lots of buttons for little hands to press.
The Funicular Railway up Petrin Hill is good fun in itself. At the summit are landscaped gardens and several attractions including an observation tower and a hall of mirrors.
Dino Park right on the top floor of Harfa Shopping Center is perfect for little boys! The massive models look very real and make quite scary noises. It's quite informative and there's a Dino movie theatre.
It's not in the centre, but the National Agricultural Museum has everything from ride on tractors and play kitchens to computer games.

Thanks for the responses.

Ricekrispie our son is transport obsessed, so the Funicular was already down but the restaurant is now top of our list to do! Model railways are always a hit in our family so that's a good one to know as well. And the Dino Park sounds great as well!

Restaurant at the top of the TV tower, if he likes transport he'll love the tram system - the 22 has the best and most scenic route in my opinion. When we were last there we took a local double decker train to visit a friend in a nearby town - he might like those, even worth a trip to the station just to see them (we took it from Masarykovo Nadrazi). There's an observatory at the top of Petrin with interactive exhibits and a family friendly astronomical centre in Holesovice. We did a couple of escape rooms although not sure if 6 is too young? Look up Vysehrad which sits above the city - remains of a fortess and an attractive area for wandering, as are the botanical gardens (there are two sites).

Thanks BadPoet some great tips there, especially useful to know a good team route to just ride as that is the kind of thing our son loves and really good for a short rest!

Been there many times, but not with a child (so making notes for my next visit). I was going to recommend using the tram network, as it is easy and cheap. It also means you can stay in a much cheaper hotel just outside the centre and get in and out easily.

Was going to say Vyserad and Petrin hill.

Book for and eat breakfast at the cafe savoy before walking up ro Petrin hill (you will need the exercise after). Food is amazing.
