We are thinking of going to centre parcs end of nov/dec with an 8 month old. What is there to do there for an infant?

We took our baby and honestly there wasn't a lot for him to do, however I still loved it enjoying family time in a relaxing environmental wonderful Wink did baby swimming but the pool was too cold and not great !

I’ve been with both my children when they were babies and personally think it works better in the summer when they’re that age. At 8 months they’ll be too little to go on the back of a bike and so it can be quite a lot of walking outside in the cold and wet to get between your lodge and the entertainment. However if that doesn’t bother you then I think there’s a decent amount to do between the swimming pool, restaurants and soft plays (which might be entertaining for your baby if it’s quiet). Obviously lovely spas for you too!

We did Longleat centre parcs with our 8 month old recently as it’s the only time we’ve been able to afford to go.... there wasn’t loads to do but they enjoyed splashing in the pool and the lazy river. At longleat there’s a splash pool for toddlers that we could sit them up in and let them splash about in.
We did lots of walking too and looking at the ducks and deer, rabbits etc.
They also did a baby sensory session on a couple of days which cost extra but was a nice activity and they also did an early baby swimming lesson type thing which we couldn’t do as had booked the sensory at same time - so if you do go make sure you check timings of things.

We also did the safari park although that was more for us but he did seem to like looking at the animals.

Overall yes there’s not masses for an 8 month old but he was quite happy to sleep, swim etc and it was quite easy!
Ella’s kitchen baby pouches are free in the restaurants on site which was great

We took wine and nibbles etc for at night and lots of toys too

We went when DS was around that age and enjoyed it. In terms of activities, the swimming is great and they do a 'baby dolphins' session in the pool before it opens on a Saturday morning (and Tues/Thurs if you do midweek). Its free and good for your little one to enjoy a little time in the pool before it gets busy. they do a couple of nursery rhymes at the end.

I also took DS to the baby sensory, which he seemed to enjoy. They also have a good creche that will look after your little one while you go to the spa for an hour!
