Hello,
This is my first message, so hello!
My daughter is going to Gulliver's ecopark for her birthday and I was wondering if anyone has been there. We've been to the other park, but not to this one - it's only just opened.
Any advice??
Thanks
MM

It's in Milton Keynes, next to Gulliver's Land. They have officially opened it, but only a couple of weeks ago.

Planning on taking DS3 in a couple of weeks to either Gulliver's Land or the Ecopark.

We've been to Gulliver's in Matlock and in Warrington.

Anyone been to the Ecopark yet?

Whats it like at Gullivers Land in Milton Keynes?
We're taking kids there in August.
Does anyone know how much it costs to get in?
And can i get hold of any discount vouchers from anywhere????

minnisota · 15/06/2007 13:55

We went there last June. DS was 4.3, there was only one ride he wasn't tall enough to go on but the rest were fine although he needed an adult for most of the ones he was interested. There's a water chute, rollercoasters, bumper cars etc, all made for little ones.

I've never seen any vouchers anywhere

Has noone been to Eco Park yet?

unknownrebelbang · 21/06/2007 17:43

Just on the off-chance someone might have been to the Eco-Park...

WendyWeber · 24/06/2007 15:52

It has its own website if it helps (but I haven't been, sorry!)

unknownrebelbang · 25/06/2007 07:43

Thanks

Yes! I've been to the Ecopark! It's great for under 7s, although I took my 9year old plus friends there for her birthday and they still loved it. Only trouble was they couldn't fit on the trikes and trains without hoiking their legs up.
The best thing about it is that there are activities (digging for bones, digging for veg, cooking veg) which are free and also enclosed so easy to supervise, indeed some they don't want parents in (climbing wall) so you can go and have a cup of tea!
Unlike a lot of theme parks where you simply drift from one ride or spectacle to another, the Ecopark has opportunities for children to spend a bit of time actually doing something. I'd go before it starts to get busy and popular.

Sounds good!

Which of the two MK parks would you say is better for an almost 9 year old?

MrsMarvel · 30/06/2007 22:49

Well Gullivers Land is mainly rides and Ecopark is mainly activities so it depends on your child.
