I can't be bothered going to the post office, will the travel agent give me the same exchange rate anyway?

Oh and its Cypriot pounds so a pretty common one to get.

Have to say that I found quite a range when I went to exchange dollars (and the post office wasn't the best!). But really it depends on how much you are changing.

OK for £500 Tesco would give you 413 Cypriot pounds, the post office would give you 405 Cypriot pounds and Thomas Cook would give you 395. Buying at the airport would give you less I would presume. I have no idea whether Tesco is the cheapest (though you do get clubcard points), but these seems to be around a 4% difference.

I mostly travel to Europe, so keep a small stash of Euros. I don't take GBP with me, just get money from ATMs when I get there.

Am I the only one?

travel agent and airports most expensive.

Woman in the Post office told me to go to M&S as they have the best rates, haven't checked yet, but that's where she goes.
