White soled shoes/converse
Lots of bathers
Clothes for going out in the evening on shore

And anything that you'd bring on any other holiday really, but soft, non-black soles shoes are important to protect/avoid damaging the boat.

You'll have an amazing time!

Sunblock and sun cream. A baseball cap or hat as easy to have too much sun, not all yachts have biminis and it gets v hot and the sun bounces off the water and you burn more quickly. Some long trousers and long sleeved top for when you need to be out of the sun but on deck. Even in summer it can get cold if sailing at night even if 35 degrees during the day, so a couple of things you can layer with. Shorts and vests and deck shoes as well or white soled plimsols for the rest of the time on board, plus a dress for evening. Not open toes shoes as you bang feet on winches and stuff. Bikini.A pair of good quality sunglasses. Decent painkillers like tramadol and a first aid book. I never go anywhere without cling film because you can wrap injuries in it. Have a fab sail.

Download music on your phone as you probably wont have wifi. Then take a line in cable to play music on the boat speakers and a charger, so,e boats only have car chargers, call and ask...

If you are planning on cooking on board, pack a small cooking knife and grater, a pepper grinder (if you like fresh pepper) and so e small bags of herbs and spices (so you dont have to buy a whole jar for one meal)

Clips to attach your hat to your shirt collar, so when it blows off ypu dont loose it. Band for your sunglasses, same principle

Collar casual shirts to keep the sun off your neck. Lots of swim suits, you probably wont wear anything else in the day time

A wind breaker rain jacket for when the squalls roll in and you have to keep sailing

A sailing knife, a length of line, a inflatable ring or two (tie them onto your line off the back of the boat when you are at anchor and they are fun to swim to amd hang out on)

A waterproof torch, you can lower it into the water at night and watch the big fish or hold it and shine at the water and attract the fish in

A waterproof bag thingy to put your phone in and hang round your neck when you go to shore

Quick dry camping towels (they never provide enough towels for bathroom and beach use)

Biodegradable soap so you can wash off the back of the boat

A star chart

A mini pack hammock to hang from the rigging

A kite

Cards and dice games

An id book of fish/birds you might see

Great call on the sailing gloves! If you don't have any, cycling gloves will do. Especially as it will be warm and most cycling gloves are fingerless.

Oh! Bring pegs so you can hang your towels out on the side wires when you're not sailing.

And a pen for filling out the log book.

Half what you normally take, in soft bags - no stupid wheely things. Daytime is boardies and t shirt to keep sun off, you will fry in a swimsuit. night is a bit more to keep mosquito off. Sun hat, sunglasses with cord. Bare feet onboard, tread carefuilly, take a pair of trainers for clambering on and off . Nothing else. Not deckies, rip feet and have no grip. Those are for giant motor yachts. Flotilla, not Volvo ocean - you won't be sailing at night. Fleece and a waterproof each just in case. Everything gets stiff with salt so just wear the same stuff repeatedly.

Two sets swimwear at most plus rash vest. Cash, the mn idiocy about cards only doesn't work in greece. Learn to shower in two mins and nothing except body waste down the toilet.

No straighteners, dryers , thirsty brick phones! Power and reception will be limited and you don't go sailing to phone gaze. Take a few books.

Thanks Special. I hadn’t thought about mosquitoes! I’d assumed as we’d be on sea water there wouldn’t be any.
