Nice places to go away in the UK for the weekend?

Hi all, me and my boyfriend go away on the weekend every month when our two children are at my mothers. Any lovely places in the UK you can recommend to us, we would love somewhere with nice views and somewhere with lots of beautiful drives and lovely hotels. Isle of Wight seems to be our favourite place at the moment :)

I'd like to go to Southwold

DP and I went to the Cotswolds at Christmas - we thought it was crap. The villages are pretty but the countryside is so dull. I wouldn't recommend it.
