Hi

My mum has generously suggested that she funds a holiday to Disney. I really don't like the heat so need to avoid the hottest time.

What is February like?

Many thanks

February is nice during the day but wear a jumper/jeans in the evening.

Thankyou.

There will be 4 adults and 2 children. My eldest is autistic. We are thinking of a villa as that will be more relaxing for him

We'll only be going for a week so realistically will only do a couple of parks. Any suggestions as to what teenage boys would like best?

For teenage boys you're probably better off with the universal studios parks rather than Disney.
If you're set on Disney I'd say Hollywood studios and animal kingdom, magic kingdom and Epcot are ok but a bit tired imo.
And maybe water parks

I would omit Hollywood Studios if you are short of time. We only spent half a day there.

We really liked Epcot. It is very spacious and even when busy you never feel crowded in.

If you're going next February then Toy Story land will be open at Hollywood Studios so it's back to being more of a full day park - for teenagers I'd definitely recommend Universal over Disney though.

If you're only going for a week, tickets will work out quite expensive because it's actually cheaper to get the UK 14-day for 7 tickets. On the day entrance is around $120 each but some US websites do have 3 day tickets so might be an option.

We usually go Oct/Nov (Nov this year!) and weather is lovely, still warm but not too hot.

If you have Facebook, definitely join the 'it's Orlando Time' page - you will find out everything you need to know.

February was warm when we went (24-28 degrees) and we wore shorts and T shirts in the evening. It’s usually about 22 apparently. I’d definitely try to go for longer than a week - you will only be getting over the jet lag on about day 3 or 4! Magic kingdom has some rides suitable for teens - Splash mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Pirates of the Caribbean and surely nobody is ever too old to meet Mickey, Goofy etc. Grin Hollywood Studios has Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller coaster, lots of Star Wars stuff and will have more, plus Toy Story land. I’d go for those two parks if you are only going for a week, plus water parks.

You should head over to the Dibb, it's really full of Disney info.

Feb can be quite busy as a load of cheer squads and dance groups go from what I hear. X

MyBoysAndI · 31/03/2018 17:46

From what l have read though it seems that every month is really busy

Yes they are! Lol the Dibb will have a crowd level Calendar. I think Jan and early Sept are the quietest months x
