Inviting a friend and baby to stay with me?

So, I have a friend who lives in Norway and is coming to the UK in June, when her DD will be 14/15 months. Before she had DD we discussed her coming to visit me in England at some point, and stay with me during her visit to the UK. She is now planning this trip for June, but when she told me, there was no mention of staying with me - just seeing me.
Now, I'd still love her to come and visit me, but I have no children of my own so my house isn't child-proofed nor do I have any baby things like a cot etc?
When someone travels with a baby to they take this stuff with them or does it need to be arranged at the place where you stay - and could that be why she hasn't mentioned staying with me? I'm really more than happy to have her still but I'm not sure whether to bring it up if she's going to think I can provide things for them? Can you rent a cot or other things she might need, does a 14-month need a cot or are children in a bed by then? I'm just at a bit of a loss!
She's not the kind of person who would 'expect' anything but am I implying I will provide her with them by offering to let her stay with me?
Any help or advice appreciated :)

I assume you don't have friends with kids to ask? I have stayed with a childless friend and she found a cot from a neighbour. It's about the only thing one wouldn't bring, although a high chair is useful too, travel ones are available.

She won't expect you to have everything for hoe. She will have a conversation with you about what might be needed if she is going to stay with you. I'm pretty sure these things can be hired if needs be. She also won't expect that you will have your house baby proofed.
