Quieter Areas of Majorca?

Went to Majorca as a youngster to Magaluf, now I have kids would like to visit the island but to a quieter, more family-orientated area.

Any ideas?

On top of the Col de l’Ofre plus the Torrent de Pareis. I had no idea Mallorca had parts like this!

Agree that the area closer to Soller is lovely. We went to a place called Sant Elm for a few hours and that was really nice.

We stopped in Puerto Pollensa for a drink - didn't stay long, tbf - but I didn't like it that much. Lots and lots of Brits.

Can people who have been to Cala D'or and Pollensa explain the differences please? I've been to Cala Dor and had a lovely time white sand turquoise sea etc. Thinking of going to Pollensa this year..
Also is there good snorkelling in Pollensa.

We went to an AI in Alcudia, Iberostar Ciuda Blanca and the food was amazing and it's right on the beach

Just Been looking at Majorca for a holiday this year. I've never been sure whether to go to Majorca or Menorca - am I right that it's Menorca that is the smaller island and a bit more "exclusive" and therefore much more ££££??

Would love hotel recommendations for a family of 4 that doesn't need to be AI but has beach and restaurants nearby? Don't really need a kids club but great if there is one. Thanks !
