Dubai in Easter hols - how long and where stay?

Never been to Dubai
Flights from Birmingham if possible.

Budget max £4K but would love to spend a lot less!

Over the Easter holidays... recommendations please.

We lived in Dubai (very briefly....for good reason) and it was the most awful place I have ever lived. While £4000 won’t get you far in Dubai, it would get you an absolutely fantastic holiday in so many other places.

Bear in mind that a soft drink in a Dubai hotel is around £6/7.

It's very expensive.

There are much better places to take dc of that age and for your budget.

I would be looking at the Canary Islands.

Yes to musandam. Have a look at groupon.ae they have lots of good deals for things like musandam cruises.

We have been to Dubai with kids several times but this cost more than £4K. My kids have amazing memories. Definitely recommend a jeep safari into the desert. We book with Kenwood Travel. Abu Dhabi is a bit cheaper, not tried it myself but my sister and family enjoy it.
This Easter we are doing Mexico. Worth a consideration?
