Really struggling this year to think of somewhere to go.
We have had 2 fab holidays in USA the past 2 years and really can’t stretch again .
We have 2x 15 ( b/g) and an 8yr old.
One of the older 2 loves beaches and heat and doing not a lot the other not so keen on heat ( need air con)and needs to be doing . Youngest is pretty chilled !
They tend to like new places and have loved our city adventures but also they love the beach / coast.
We are not keen on the package hotel type holidays as I always find sorting rooms tricky and 5 becomes expensive.
I don’t want to be in a tent - really not a holiday for me
So hit me with your ideas !

Lake Bled in Slovenia. Beautiful destination and lots of watersports and activities on offer. There's usually a range of accommodation on air b&b or I'm sure you can find self catering accommodation. It's just becoming popular, so prices are still relatively low, which gives you more money to spend on activities.

I'd also second Croatia. If you hire a car there are loads of fantastic cities to visit plus great beaches and some areas will have activities such as sailing on offer too.

We're going to the south of France to one of the Yelloh village campsites, but staying in a three bed "cabane" with air con, the poshest they have. You could probably get two next to each other. €500 euros for a week.
Not been on this kind of holiday but have high hopes, it's on the beach (nr Beziers), within half an hour of lots of interesting places and had loads going on onsite for kids of all ages (we're told).
Flights and car hire cheap too though it is drivable.
