Tell me your favourite holiday you have ever been on?!

Thinking of next years holiday and wondering if I am missing out on any place that I haven't thought of, or somewhere less 'popular' that you loved. Need some ideas.

With kids, the stand out favourite has to be driving a camper van around the southern half and of Iceland in summer a few years ago. In hindsight, a week was insufficient - we should have taken 2 weeks to go all the way round at a leisurely pace.

A close second was our fortnight last summer touring Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Park.

Considering Costa Rica for next Christmas now!

Costa Rica is amazing with kids rogue. There are some amazing jungle lodges on Pacuare river that you have to get to by dinghy. The wildlife is just incredible and there are a few sloth sanctuaries which the kids loved. It’s fairly easy driving and both the Pacific and Caribbean coasts are beautiful.
