Replicating our 'holiday in the sun' in Toronto, CA?

Hello

Would value any opinions.

FIL's partner lives in Toronto, CA (FIL lives in the UK, they essentially holiday together a few times a year). We took DS out there when he was 3, we now have a 4 DD who we'd also like to experience it. The DP is not getting any younger - who is! - so want to go whilst she is well and we can do stuff together etc.

However, our kids like our annual '10 days all inc in the European sun' holiday. Mainly for the pool I have to say, they aren't that keen on beaches. I am not sure about swapping that for a 'City tour' type holiday.

So I am wondering what the options are for a sort of all inc/family pool holiday within a City 'tour' holiday if we are based in Toronto? I am thinking we drive a little out of Toronto a bit and stay somewhere for the pool/sun.

Obvs I could ask the DP but I don't want to raise her hopes should we decide not to go ahead. I want to get a sense of prices for a pool/hotel stay.

We'd be looking to go the last 2 week so the school summer hols, so coming back the first weekend in Sept. DS will be 10 & DD will be 5.

TIA

To be clear CA = Canada, not California!

There are loads of great water parks in that part of Canada - have a look at the Great Wolf Lodge resorts. Not sure on current prices though, sorry!

Spend a few days in Toronto by all means, but if you have 2 weeks to kill I'd really recommend looking at renting a cottage on one of the many beautiful lakes just north of the city (eg Lake Simcoe or somewhere in Muskoka). It's the quintessential Ontario holiday.
