Flying in the third trimester

I'd like to go on holiday at the end of June, when I'll be 29 weeks pregnant. Will I be allowed to fly?

check with both the airline and with your travel insurance - most travel insurance policies will only cover you up to 28 weeks.

Hi there
Bumping this thread as I'm not sure what the score is. We've not found anywhere to go but we're both desperate for a break and we're just looking for winter sun
this link says something about welcoming pregnant passengers as long as they have a certificate from their doctor/mw saying everything's been trouble free and it's a single pg (which it is)

Any advice anyone
TIA

I flew just as I was 28 weeks and flew back at 30 weeks. I took a docs certificate with me to prove that I was fit and healthy but TBH no one asked as when you check in they can't see your bump at the desk! and no one questioned me going through the gate either.

Doc charged me £12 for a letter though but glad I took it just in case I needed it as wouldn't have wanted to be stuck.

I flew back at 32 weeks as that's when our yearly policy stopped. I had a letter from the MW but I think I must have forgotten it (can't remember 8 yrs ago) as I had to see the BA crew Dr (very smooth I can tell you all those hormones - nearly shot off the seat when he patted my knee!)

Couldn't get the lunch tray down on the way back though!
