Inspiration needed multi generation trip for PILs 80th

My lovely PILs both turn 80 next spring March and April and we are hoping to take them away for a break with us and our two DCs 6 and 4.
We would either do a long weekend outside of school holiday or it will have to be Easter holidays.
We had considered something like a short cruise but have decided it's over ambitious. MIL has Meunieres disease so struggles with her balance and hearing. FIL has to worry about her as well as not being that mobile himself!
This means we would also probably stick to the UK. ( they are quite well travelled but I think lack the confidence now .. )
The last time we went away admittedly our kids were quite a bit smaller but it was exhausting . We self catered which meant me and DH did it all .
So this time we are keen to try to get somewhere with some sort of catering on site available at least.

DH suggested Centre parcs but I am not sure and don't think we would benefit from that many activities. The trip is for the PIL not the kids IYSWIM...

I feel like we can do better !
Any ideas ?

Came across this for example ..

How about Cameron House on the shores of Loch Lomond. You can stay at the hotel or they have self catered lodges.

Or Crieff hydro is good.

Sandybrook in Derbyshire is very near to Chatsworth and is utterly perfect for 3-7 year olds. The park has a restaurant called The Coach House where you can eat or take meals back to your lodge. There is an activity programme especially for 3-7s, with each session lasting for an hour and costs £5 per child. There are other activities like archery if DH is after that kind of thing. www.sandybrook.co.uk/facilities

The Devonshire arms near Bolton Abbey. The Abbey itself has gardens and things for the kids and the Devonshire is a bit of a treat for your PILs - they have a bar restaurant too. There's an petting zoo/farm up the road. For a extra special treat for your PILs check out www.lovetuktuks.co.uk as they can take them out on a tour of the Yorkshire dales. Am sure there is SC accommodation in the vicinity too.

I saw your thread title and came on the thread to suggest Center Parcs. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants, lovely scenery to enjoy etc for the PILS. It’s not all about activities. I would go for Sherwood Forest.

Yes, Crieff hydro caters for young and old. Definitely something for everyone there.
