I have seen a couple of threads on this from a few years ago but wondering if things had changed so thought I’d start a new thread.

I’m off to Vegas with DH in April for a good friend’s wedding. The wedding will take up one day with food and drink provided.

We’ll be there 7 days in total and haven’t got breakfast included in the hotel price. We aren’t planning on going mad with going out to clubs etc, we’re old and boring now. We’d like to have a couple of nice meals but other than that happy to have cheapish meals the rest of the time. Probably have a few drinks in bars and a tiny bit of gambling. That side doesn’t really appeal.

Might go to a show, depending on what is on. Can anyone give any kind of estimate as to how much we might need?

Drinking on the strip in plastic containers is fine but not on any side streets so watch out for that.

Oooh just a thought, I tweeted my hotel (we were in the mirage) to say I'm getting married in Vegas, any chance of a cheeky upgrade! They tweeted back asking for dets and bloody hell the upgrade was amazing! We didn't need to prove we were getting married or anything... you should so do that!

My Vegas is gambling for free. It’s up to you as you have the option to buy coins but you get so many thousand a day. We got done great rewards. MGM is massive are you in the apartments that are separate? If so leave round the back we were fed up having to walk all the way through it. It is at the end linked to New York New York. Enjoy yourselves I’ve been three times. It’s more than enough! We hired a car which was the best thing we ever did. The scenery is stunning.
