We are visiting Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, Victoria and Vancouver. What shd we definitely not miss? We have moraine lake on the list and johnston canyon and the Colombian ice fields. Any other tips/ hints? Any Sunshine Coast places? We haven’t time to go to the west side of Vancouver island unfortunately.

This is soooo confusing! I am going to speak to the travel agent again this afternoon and chat it all through....

Hope you got on ok at the travel agent.

There is so much to see in Canada that it can get confusing. I guess the thing to do is focus on what you really enjoy.
So we like stunning scenery and outdoor activities, but aren't so interested in towns, so structured our visits around that. No matter what options you choose, you'll have a fabulous time.

Thanks rookie. I actually had some technical questions re accommodation and other aspects of the trip so I put. Off having that chat as dh wasn’t home in time to seek his views first!!!

we found booking our accommodation quite straightforward. we did originally consider hiring a camper van but didn't for a couple of reasons. the sites are great but the good ones get booked up many months in advance so you cant just easily drive and stop for the night. and, when we were there we noticed how tricky it was for vans to access some of the sites and their parking which did mean hanging around hoping for a big space. I have a trip report I can send you. message me if you want it.
