Hi
We have been trying for a second baby for 2 years. We just booked our holiday for next August and have now found out we are expecting.
We don't want to cancel the holiday as we have already told ds#1 and worried his nose might be shoved out a bit already.
Anyway my question is, with a seven week old would you take a bugaboo for them to sleep over night in and as their main form of transport or would you take a maclaren techno and a travel cot?

We went to Santiago de Compostela when the baby girl was 6 weeks old and she slept I her Bugaboo Bee carrycot with no problems at all. At four months we took her to Goa and she slept in one of the UV tents you mentioned which was great because no bugs. I’d say definitely go for it, as long as you’ve the sling you’ll be fine - we went out for dinner every night with the baby girl in the sling and no one batted an eyelid.

I would seriously consider putting it back a few weeks in case you have c section and/or complications.

Children don’t need to go to school until the term after their 5 birthday so you can’t be fined for going to school during this time.
