Is it possible to do WDW at Christmas on a budget?

As title. Getting married next year but during hurricane season so thought about a European minimoon then a Disneymoon over Christmas. Can't think of anywhere else we'd like to go. But we'd need to do it on a budget. Is this possible? As cheap as we can really. What are must see/do's? All the Disney/universal etc parks? Do we need a car when we get there? I'm pretty terrified of driving on the other side! Thanks :)

We went last August and stayed at the doubletree Hilton on international drive. Hotel provided free transport to all parks-just had to book the day before. Then we spent about 20 dollars or so each for a fortnights iride trolley ticket (like a bus that runs up and down the drive) so we could eat out of parks to lower costs. Our hotel flights and park ticket for all parks-sea world Disney universal Busch gardens was 3k (all booked together with Thomas cook as couldn't find cheaper and they did the leg work) and we spent around 1.5-2k out there but had a no limits approach and spent a fortune on gifts and souvenirs/clothing. And didn't pick the cheapest hotel. So may be worth popping in your local branch and asking, we were amazed! Good luck! We went for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! Hectic but so far beyond anything I could imagine I nearly cried entering Disney for the first time seeing main st 😳

No need to blush, Sweetooth92 - dh is always bawling his eyes out when we first go in!

I cry when I get there, cry at every fireworks show and cry when I leave Grin

Don't go to Ronnie's steak house on international drive. Most expensive meal of my life and one of the worst.
