Don't know but dd ADORED London Zoo on Monday. Had to be carried, sobbing, from the bouncy castle...
She also loved the sheep and spent agees 'feeding' them straw. Just a really lovely, happy day, despite the sobbing!

I'm sure either would be good.

Are you still breastfeeding btw? Am really trying to stop atm.

yes, just in the morning now. am thinking i can fill more of the day with whipsane as its bigger. am just hoping it wont be too packed by the time i get there.

Slightly less walking around at Willows so I'd say might be better for a 2 year old. Plus you have the bouncy castle and other stuff going on at Willows as well as the animals.

hmmm true teecee, and it is closer if i do get called back for tx (i can hope)

hmmm. decisions.

I filled pretty much the shole day at Willows, but I suppose as Whipsnade is bigger then yes it might be easier if you want an entire day out.

Last half-term it was (admittedly cold but) pretty empty at Whipsnade. Ds 2 loved it, as did dd 5. There could be lots of walking but there is a bus which just keeps going round and round and you can easily get on and off. And there is a pretty good playground with a couple of big slides and a bouncy castle. Mind you, am hoping to go to Willows Farm soon so can't comment on that one anyway.

We went to whipsnade yesterday and it was not packed at all. Loads of space to absorb the crowds. We had a lovely time. If you decide to go just avoid the 'peak' times in the cafes - ie not straight after the sealion show. Better still, if the weather improves then take a picnic - there are loads of stunning places to have one.

Having said that, there is probably enough to do at Willows for a day - but that really WILL be packed. A fraction of the space that Whipsnade has. One cafe. Though it might have more that would appeal to a 2 year old (bouncy castles, fairground rides etc).

There is a voucher for 1 free child admission to Willows Farm in Herts Primary Times this issue, if it helps

Have you tried Mead Open Farm, misdee? Further from you than Willows I think but prob similar distance to Whipsnade. There's a coupon in P Times for that too - 1 free child with a paying adult.

Also there's Woodside Farm near Luton

dd3 will go free and i will pop by morrisons first as they have free vouchers on their receipts atm. dont have ptimes here

What about Paradise Animal Park in broxbourn.

Can't do links but the address is:

www.pwpark.com/

It's a mixture of animals and playcentre's.
