Hmm, 7k for two weeks - one in villa with pool in south of France, one in villa with pool in Costa Brava. Includes train tickets for four, hire car, spending money.

I have looked at jet2 but stansted isn't southern. I am on the south coast and the only London airports I can get to are Heathrow and Gatwick. So jet2 isn't an option.

2 weeks in Cyprus (we are currently there!). We have a 2 bed villa with pool which cost £3,800 but then with extras (pre-booked flight seats, up-grading car hire, parking at airport and spending money and food I would estimate we will have spent approx £5500 - £6,000.

Crikey!

£3.2k for 2 weeks AI, family of 4, 3 star in Balearics in August. Gorgeous place, flew budget but not arsed for a 2 hour flight and pre booked seats. Booked last November.

Wow we tend to avoid normal holidays but spent two weeks in Spain in August for about a grand. And did two weeks in Sweden for a similar amount.

Did a week in portugal this year for 500 quid staying b&b in a 4/5 star hotel. And a week on playa Blanca in Feb for 750 quid.

All for 4 except Portugal.

Looking at Honduras for Christmas and for two weeks self catering on an island it's coming in at 1800 - 2000.

But I don't do all inclusive

Hi I've be been looking for next year. Jet2 certainly seem the cheapest £2.3k for 2 adults and 2 DC in early June 10N AI in Tenerife. £1.7k in April and at least £3.8k in August for same holiday, and April and June include free child place. It's shocking how expensive it is !!!

Identity1 · 19/08/2017 19:25

Anasnake - do you mind me asking which hotel ?

Identity1 · 19/08/2017 19:37

Bangingmyheadofabrickwall i too hace found jet2 soooo much cheaper. I have seen 2 same holidays with jet2 and Thomas Cook and TC were wanting 400 and 650 more respectively , their breakdown was including under occupancy charges for the same type of room as on jet2 could not get my head round it. And I love the 22kg and 10kg luggage allowance !!

I paid 3.8k for 6 people (3 adults 3 children) for 2 weeks in tenerife in august with sunmaster holidays.

And £500 for 6 people for a week near paris in August self catering on the river siene. With eutocamp

Looneytune253 · 19/08/2017 19:50

We paid approx £2.5k this year for a week AI in benidorm. Last year was about just under £2k for a week AI in lanzarote. 2 adults, 2 kids. Find your flights first and go from there.

Identity it was Cala Ferrera in Majorca - we booked with On the Beach

Anasnake · 19/08/2017 20:24

The budget airlines don't release their flights until the autumn though so they're not on the site yet for next year.

Cheekypenguin · 19/08/2017 20:24

Just booked for next year £3700 for 2 adults four children end of July. That's all inclusive .

Anasnake - Thank you.
