Hi everyone
Just seeking advice, due to go on holiday this week abroad and trying to find out which is the best prepaid card to get. I am aware some have charges for withdrawals. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you x

Post Office travel money. You can load it with 13 different currencies and use ur as a debit and cash card.

Thank you - I'll have a look at that, hopefully no charges for withdrawals. Plan on taking a few euros for first few days then use card, as I think it is safer option. Thank you again for advice.

No charge for withdrawals - just the conversion rate when you load the currency on 😊

Have a look on the Martin Lewis website for his best ones. I got a Monzo card and thought it was great.

I have just got one from Thomas Cook.

I had one before but they advised a new one as the charges are lower on this. Can load various currencies

1.75 Euro per withdrawal of cash (so make sure to withdraw decent amounts) but there aren't any charges if you use as a debit card in a store/restaurant etc.

I always put amounts on in round 100 euro numbers e.g. 600 then add on a few euros for the charges e.g. 606 to be able to keep track easier.

Thomas Cook also told me there is an app so you can keep track of your spending

Revolut is fantastic and the best rates that you will find anywhere. You need the app to get started and order your card.
