EasyJet -prescription cream in cabin baggage?

My daughter is off to Amsterdam on Sunday and is flying with Easy jet. She is only taking cabin baggage. Can she take prescription creams and antihistamines for her eczema in her carry on bag? One of the creams is in a bottle much bigger than 100ml and she will use a lot of it. From what I've read on the website she needs to have a doctors certificate which it's too late to get now. Am I reading that correctly? Have never flown with EasyJet myself. Also can anyone tell me the liquid restrictions for hand luggage please.

Thanks.

Prescription medicine can be over 100ml she won't need a certificate, just a copy of the prescription if possible, or at the very least the prescription labels.

To my knowledge all hand luggage liquids (including waxes and gels) must be in containers 100ml or less and must not add up to over 1ltr in total.

So you could decant 400ml cream into four separate 100ml bottles (and have 600ml total remaining for other liquids).

You can get bottles from Boots etc.

Other than that, without a doc note, all other liquids must go in hold-luggage.

AndNow I'm not certain that's correct, I had to decant Diprobase into small pots even with a prescription flying with Norwegian Air, mind you it was a few years ago (by 'few' I mean circa 2004).

Copy of the prescription, and the prescription label on the bottle.

And a load of empty 100ml bottles to decant the stuff into at the airport in case the security staff are having a bad day.

Thanks everyone. So if she only has 600ml left for other liquids does that include make up such as mascara, lipstick, foundation etc? That's going to be tough for an 18 year old!!!

I've never known 'them' to actually
measure the volume of mascara/lipstick etc. So long as it all fits into the little see-through baggy, they seem happy.

Thanks. I'll tell her to get some spare bottles for the cream just in case.
