Last time DD flew to Aus she was under 1 year old... Im planning on going back when she is just over two.... so not an infant. As she will have her own seat do i pay a full adult fare, or what?We normally fly with Singapore, if that maske a difference?

Children normally pay a percentage of the adult fare. How much depends on the individual flight companmies. Sadly we have found recently that it isn't much less than the adult fare at all.

...and much to my annoyance they also pay full tax with most airports barely providing more than a token baby changing room.

Age 2-12 normally pays a reduced price on a standard adult fare, but if you are flying with a discount airline a child pays the same as an adult, pretty much.

I would ring round (or internet round) the various airlines and see what child discounts are available, or if 2 discounted adult fares works out cheaper.

We've had to pay about 80% of adult fare to various places for dd - there isn't much discount unfortunately.
