Disneyland Paris on a budget inc accommodation

DH just suggested we tack a couple of extra nights on the end of our holiday and take the dc to Disneyland Paris. It's my job to find somewhere for 6 of us (4dc) to stay for 2 nights, and book park tickets, without breaking the bank.
Any recommendations for places to stay? It's a bit tricky to find hotels that have big enough rooms. The rest of our holiday is mobile home/ preerected tent/ farm stay (3 countries!).
Also, do we need tickets for 1 day or 2? 1 park or 2? And where is cheapest for tickets? Looking to book ASAP!

I can recommend the adagio apartments at Val de Europe. Next to the shopping centre so you get can supplies and also there is a shuttle bus to the parks. May not be cheap given the time of year but we've had a one bed apartment for £50 a night.

Tickets, we book these through supertrips but shop around and also look st ticket prices on the French DLP website. I'd say you need 2 full days in the parks to get a real feel for it. 3 is best though.

Both parks are worth it IMO.

What are your dates and I'll see if I can help.

Adagio has an apartment for 7 for the two nights. £338.

Dailystuck71 · 01/08/2017 19:12

What budget do you have for the two nights?

Dailystuck71 · 01/08/2017 19:14

Residholme at Val de Europe but the kids need to share a double bed each is £266.

Or, and it's not cheap but if you have a car Davy Crockett ranch in Disney is a hotel. £1000 for the 2 nights in a cabin but tickets and half board meals are included. It depends of what ticket deals you can get and then you factor in food etc. You'll get extra magic hours too with a Disney hotel stay.

I'm considering this for half term. It would be me and DD, who is 7. She is very interested in Disney Fairies - are they featured at all? I can't seem to see much info on them on the website. Would it be better to go with a friend? Sorry for all the questions, never been before!!

Dailystuck71 · 01/08/2017 19:23

Quick check and cheapest tickets I can see is £102 for adults and £93 for kids. That's a 2 day 2 park ticket but some places are doing a third day for free.

Dailystuck71 · 01/08/2017 19:24

I don't remember fairies other than tink on the parades but I have a boy so not exactly looking. Lots of princess themed stuff though. I think you'd have a wonderful time with or without friends. It's just magic.

Dailystuck71 · 01/08/2017 19:25

Half term is nuts busy though as it can be when other European countries are off too.

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 01/08/2017 20:15

Do I need 2 days park tickets or 1?

I booked annual passes from Supertrips to get the magic hours and stayed at the Adagio apartments which meAnt the kids had their own room and no fighting at the breakfast buffet. We did a mix of picnics (lovely food from the supermarket at val d'europe) and meals at Disney.

Loved it and plan to return. Two days definitely better than one.

DLP Guide website gives you all the info you need for planning.

You need 2 days if you want to go in the parks 2 days. Which you will

Dailystuck71 · 02/08/2017 07:10

Definitely 2 days and full ones too.

Go to this French ticket website for the best deals for EuroDisney:
www.fnactickets.com/
They have shops all over France from where you can collect the tickets.
This was a tip from a friend and we didn't find a better price on tickets.
Btw we did Disneyland in one day - if you're organised and do your research you can narrow it down to about 5 or so rides.
