I'm struggling to find info online which places in Europe are good for food, not too over-developed but are fairly toddler friendly...does this exist? For a week in the sun.
We are going to Kassiopi in Corfu this year and love it (third time) but want to try somewhere new next year. I know that every resort has good food if you look but I'd like somewhere that has lots of authentic food and less of the British places. To give you an idea, we found Sidari too British but love Kassiopi, Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote the opposite of what we want and Puerto Pollensa was nice but I didn't feel charmed by it. Am I looking for something that isn't there?!

Basically don't go to a resort! Go to a real actually place where people live. Find the food the local are eating.

If you like Greece, finikounda is lovely. The Greeks holiday there, so you know the food has to be good enough for locals, not just foreign tourists!

Seville is amazing and you can head to the coast for a few days after. It's also very child friendly.

Cascais is amazing and you can get into Lisbon easily too

Sardinia. Look specifically for agriturismo accomodation (all budgets catered for) unless you want a hotel in a resort. West coast is cheaper than east coast but beaches still gorgeous.
Corsica is also foodie heaven but more expensive.

Sicily. I am in Sicily just now. There are loads of babies and toddlers here. The food is glorious, and so is the weather.

Italy. Not one of the major tourist areas, one of the smaller seaside towns (where Italians holiday). Children are well catered for in Italy and what's not to love about the food Grin.
