Las Vegas Hotels with Teens

Am hoping you can please help.

We are spending 24 hours in Vegas this summer before leaving on a tour of various national parks.

I am struggling to choose a hotel.

Kids are 13 and 16.

I want to give them the Vegas experience of a large hotel compete with shops and several restaurants but a hotel where we can go to the pool and not be surrounded by drunken behavior - does such a one exist? I know we won't be able to avoid completely the smoking.

We have a room booked (with free cancellation) at the MGM - but am having doubts about how family friendly it will be (on a Las Vegas scale).

Last time we were in Bryce Canyon we saw a cougar; it crossed the road in front of our car, an amazing experience. When we talked to the rangers they (somewhat casually imo) said, "that was probably the female with cubs that has been stalking hikers".I've never been to Antelope Canyon but it looks out of this world too.Whichever park you are in it is always worth getting out in the early morning when it is cooler and quiet for a walk.You will be awake at the crack of dawn for the first few days anyway because of the time change.

They are great parks and you will love them. We also went to Mesa Verde. I can recommend that too!
