What to do with kinds in Northern Germany/Southern Denmark

We'll be staying at the Center Parcs Bispinger Heide and from there carrying on towards Copenhagen at the end of June. We leave the Center Parcs on Friday and we need to be in Copenhagen Monday evening. We'll be driving with 3 kids aged 13, 10 and 2.

Any suggestions what to do or where to go? We'll do some day trips to Hamburg/Hannover while we're at the Center Parcs.

legoland?

depends if you wanted to take the ferry at Roedby I guess, but is nice!!

We could drive through Jutland or take the ferry. A bit worried Legoland will be packed as it'll be the beginning of Danish school holidays - and also that it might not be 13 year old's thing. We were thinking of a theme park near Lubeck on the Friday (can't remember the name) and then going to Sylt for the weekend and drive from there to Copenhagen through Jutland on Monday.

My family is from the Baltic coast and I might be biased but think this is the more beautiful part of Schleswig Holstein - Sylt really isn't all that, also you'd do an awful lot of crisscrossing!

We all enjoyed this place

Heide Park theme park near Soltau, also the Soltau thermal baths, Dinosaur park in Munchegan, Hameln - a pretty town where the story of Pied Piper of Hamlyn comes from, Celle - the beautiful administrative capital of Lower Saxony, it's Northeast of Hanover, Serengeti Park in Hodenhagan - it has a safari park and a theme park. That's all I can think of for the minute.

I noticed a lot of the websites don't have English translations! We don't speak a word of German. I hope it won't be too difficult there.

Loads to do/ see in Copenhagen of course... we took the ferry... but we also enjoyed the fantastic beaches in Schleswig Holstein

Yep Copenhagen we're sorted for what to see and do. But the area in between isn't on the classic (English speaking) tourist trail. That has its advantages of course but also makes it a bit more challenging to find the places to go!
