The rain is very very welcome whilst walking about the parks!

I was there for Honeymoon September last year and both me and DH agreed we would go in Late October early November next year, the rain didn't bother us whislt we were in the parks but when it wasn't raining the humidity was so high!

People were fighting for shade... But... Like a preious poster said you need to plan accordingly so either mornings or afternoons there because a full day out in those conditions was too much for us.

The only time it was nice was when at the water parks :)

It was between 27-36 degrees when we were there. A couple of downpours and a few cloudy days but mostly very hot and sunny-definitely sunbathing weather!

It was very very busy!

I've been in April. It was busy the week that butted Easter but the second week after was great tho by then we were at universal.

It was plenty hot enough for me 26-28 most days. A few very hot days. A few cooler but always over 24
And we had 3 water park days too.

Easter is generally busier than summer, the last two weeks of August are the quietest part of the summer but hurricanes are more likely. I often compare the heat in August to the heat when you sit in a car that has been in the sun for 12 hours. It is stifling in a way that makes you feel like breathing is a struggle. I fucking love it though.

Carribbean Beach is currently undergoing a 2 year refurbishment closing off the food court, as is Coronado Springs. Saratoga Springs and Old Key West often have deals offering up to 40% off in addition to the free dining plan.

You will need to do research if you're planning a Disney trip. There are four parks, two water parks and the Disney Springs area. Bus service, monorails and water taxis operate between all parts of the property. It operates like a small city and if you don't research before you go you can be overwhelmed and not get the most of it. There are thousands of websites if you Google.

We went in may it was roasting hot but with no humidity and no rain.
The humidity in August I would find offputting

August is oppressively hot but you do get used to it, we're going back this August. As a few posters have mentioned, the end of August is less busy.

We went last August- it was incredibly hot as you'd expect but there was no other time we could go. What we did was get to the parks for 'rope drop' as much as we can and left before the sun got really hot. It was a tough ask to spend a full day at the parks, think we managed it once at Animal Kingdom, but that's because we did lots of shows.

Lots of fluids, hats and suncream too! Cup of ice and water is free from any quick service counter.

Spent lots of afternoons at Mall at Millenia stuffing our faces and getting fat at the Cheescake Factory shopping or chilling at the villa.

August in Florida can also be quite wet, a few thunder storms can be a welcome relief so take light weight water proofs. It's perfectly doable if you plan for it and go prepared.
