Good caravan/camping sites Nothern France?

We are biting the bullet and considering driving from Northern England and getting the ferry to France with 3 kids who will then be just 7, just 5 and 10 months.
We went with Canvas holidays to France 2 years ago and stayed in a basic caravan on a Camping Les Castels site in the Vende it was fab but we don't fancy driving as far.
Can anyone recommend good sites further North. We are going the last 2 weeks of August so need to get booking!

We went to Camping Cote de Nacre in St Aubin sur Mer in Normandy a few times before we started going to Vendee. it's a leisurely 4 hours drive and it's a really nice site for young kids. It's in a nice little town, you can walk to the beach and there's lots of other nice towns/resorts on the coast within a short drive.
We use to book direct with the site - it's not cheap but chaeper than booking through other companies.

Try Chateaux de le eaux in Normandy. Has an amazing covered pool.

Or. chateau Gallinee in Britany near St Cast is nice

Camping Les Mouettes near Roscoff is lovely

You could get to the Loire in a day

We stayed at Le Ranolien in Perros Guirrec Northern Brittany a few years ago with the DC.

It was our first time driving to France amd staying on a site. We booked through Keycamp but there are other companies too on the site.

It was good for our DSs (aged 8,11,12) they loved being able to go to the play areas and hang out with other children.

The pool areas were nice too. It wasn't a huge site just big enough to have facilities but not too rowdy.

Another vote for Chateaux Les Eaux - but book direct with the site it is much cheaper than with Eurocamp et al. Granville the little village close by is lovely.
