Flying Heathrow - Kisumu (Kenya), with two stop overs and three hours driving either side.

So far I've got knitting, toothbrush, facewipes, deodorant, book, phone charger, spare vest top.

What have I missed?

I flew to the other side and the world and back over the last couple of weeks. If you are changing flights a couple of times, you really don't want to haul loads of hand luggage with you. Try to pare it back as much as you can.

My essentials:
Change of pants and socks
Eye drops, balm, moisturizer
Toothbrush etc
Warm hoody or other jumper
My own (thin) pillow. So so nice to have, especially in a window seat where you can lean against the wall.
Rubber ear buds, and the adapter to use instead of the awful plane headphones. They double as ear plugs if you want to sleep as well
Wipes, deodorant, tissues
Phone charger

Anything else is really not necessary to be honest in my experience. Buy water airside, but they are normally pretty good at bringing water around.

Some sort of neck cushion if it hasn't already been mentioned...

You can get a pre paid visa type card that you can transfer money into direct from your uk account and then change into various currencies. Very handy if you're hanging about in various airports/countries and may need a bit more/less in the way of funds. All controlled via a phone app.

A few companies offer them now and most roll some sort of offer on or off (so you could recommend to the rest of the group and all get a referral bonus for example).

Please no sprays or mists, especially not perfume. Aircraft stink as it is and someone spraying fragrance may get deservedly vomited on. Dont do it.

Just be prepared to lose your wooden needles either on way or way back. My mum lost hers in Spain despite significant discussion (and all the stitches on) and that was despite having no problems flying out from the uk with same

I think you need to stay at home.
